I wonder if, like the map, there's something 'new' in his dad's journal that Helga might be able to identify or interpret that Arnold couldn't. You never know what a fresh pair of eyes could do. xD

Omg omg omg ! Just urge! This story is fucking ridiculously Well written! Like I love it ! It's sexy and funny and I love the connection between the green eyes and present ! Just wow really great job! I wish my I could express how amazing this is! Can't wait for the next chapter!

Loving it so far. My only critique is that i feel like you're describing events too much rather than letting the reader actually engage with them on a more personal level through character dialogue. Despite their surprise reunion and sudden decision to go traipsing into the wilderness together, they haven't had many conversations. It makes the story feel more clinical, y'know? There's little chemistry between Helga and Arnold, which is odd given their personalities and their current situation. That all said, your descriptions are really rich and varied. Im instantly reminded of holidays in humid climates and long hiking trips, love how you're able to bring these memories out with just a few words. I'd just personally like a bit more character interaction/conversation and not just between Arnold and Helga, but with San Lorenzo's locals, to really pull me into the story and give it some heart. :)

Omgosh im so excited for this story! This is the story i've always wanted to read or write! Reunited for adventure. I can't wait :D

This is getting SO interesting! It already had me hooked but now I can't stop speculating about hidden clues and who I think these voices belong to. This is developing so well and I can't wait to hear more!

Aw I like that we got that bit about her and the teacher's relationship and why she ended up studying what she did. It's nice she had that sort of friend/mentor.

Yay Helga, nice going on the map! I figured she'd see what Arnold couldn't.

It's nice to get a bit more on Arnold's progress and past attempts. And ya, I see Helga never being the greatest at receiving genuine praise either lol

I'm wondering if Arnold and Helga will have anything to do with the Warrior and Aklel.

i laughed at the fact that helga got kicked out of the kitchen for trying to help. i can only imagine what she must have done to have that happen.

I'm thinking the voices Arnold is hearing is possibly the warrior and aklel, the fact that it's a man and woman and that they sometimes giggle is making me think that anyway.

Very intriguing. Remembering the first chapter while she currently spews how much she loves the country and wants to stay. What on earth will happen to turn then into captives and her like a hunted animal by pirates? Can't wait to see.

I can't wait to find out who those voices could be from. I think if Helga tell Arnold more about what her professor told her. It may can help them out.

Aww yea they slept together
