Guest chapter 7 . 1/31/2019
Steve does my head in.

So many always have tony the dick when it comes to civil war its quite pathetic really.

Bucky was brain washed i get it but poor tony will never get the image of buckys hands killing his parents brain washed or not it was still his hands that did it.

But no one ever cares when tony loses someone or is hurt, they only ever care about placing all the blame on him.

So far this doesn't seem like that sort of story so fingers crossed it stays this way.

And fingers crossed his not put with steve Or bucky.

Cause its shocking how many people seem to like putting bucky with tony as if tony can ever get over what he was forced to watch.

Something he probably would of never seen had steve told him the truth in the first place and he would of never got blindsided by it.

Now THIS is what I've been waiting for in most fanfictions where writers always write Tony as the bastard in the story concerning Bucky, Ultron and Civil War. I don't know if they do it consciously because they've got a fixation on Barnes or whatever, but they've always used the same excuse in all their own explanations to what's happened.
"Bucky was brainwashed into doing what he did, it wasn't him, it was HYDRA."
Yeah, we know. So? I'm not saying he's guilty because James Barnes and the Winter Soldier are two different people, but still: the Winter Soldier has James Barnes' FACE, it was HIS hand that strangled Maria Stark and bashed Howard's skull into the wheel. That's something you can never argue with. But still, do you think that's enough? Had it been me in Tony's shoes, I would have tried everything to kill Barnes. I would have snapped, refused to see reason because that excuse of "He was brainwashed by HYDRA!" just isn't enough!
And the blame. The blame on Tony Stark. Why do they always blame Tony? It's incredible really, how Tony could be made the bad guy very easily because of his genius, but you, my fellow writer, have completely backed me up on this reasoning with this chapter; Wanda wasn't innocent in all this about Ultron, she even triggered it and helped make what Ultron was as she was HYDRA back then and was thirsty for revenge against Tony. So no, people can't just keep blaming Tony for Ultron, Civil War and the Accords. Writers and Avengers alike, not when the Avengers just needed someone to blame. Their trust in Stark is laughable, and I so wanted to beat them into a pulp just the blaming shit. Always Tony's fault without even trying to understand - until you made Natasha and Sam mull it over. For this chapter, I applaud you because I needed that. Thanks!
Otherwise, I love that story.

I've been following this story for almost as long as it's been around, I think. I may be remiss in not having said this earlier, but I love it. I wouldn't say I hate Steve, but almost all of my sympathies and support lie with Tony, and you've done an absolutely gorgeous portrayal of him, which makes the story mind-blowing. You bring up so many points in Tony's defence that I agree with, but couldn't have managed to put into words if asked. A little more surprisingly, you also manage to do this without really any full on Steve-bashing, which is by far the easier way to do it. It makes the story great in a way that a lot of post-Civil works fall short of. Pepper is amazing. Your spelling and grammar are as perfect as they come, and I love your style of writing, it's so engaging to the readers. I so enjoy see the notification email pop up with this piece, I'll be around for as long as you decide to continue with it, and then, you know, back for re-reading. It's that good. A big thank you, I love your story, and I offer you the metaphorical platter of leftover Christmas chocolate.

Thank you thank you thank you.
I really wasn't happy with the ending to Civil War and this story just made my day. I really wish it truly ended like this and now it does...in my own little world. Thank you again and keep it up!

Hey there,
first things first: I love your story! Your portrayal of the characters is really good, and I especially like the interaction between Vision and Tony. Good job there!
Anyway, have you found a new beta reader yet? Because I'd love to try beta-reading if you haven't. So if you're still interested, feel free to PM me

I have followed this story since the first chapter and I instantly fell in love with it. They way you write the characters is amazing. They have a lot of depth to them. I would like to know what happens next and I hope that the story will be continued. It is to good to not finish it.
Darling De Piaget chapter 9 . 12/19/2016
Please tell me this is not a fix it, I don't like how the world in danger suddenly fix their "friendship". There is more to the problem than Rogers disregarding the words of 100 states. I really like this story, I hope you update soon.
