I do not regret whatsoever staying up all night to finish reading your frankly amazing story. To be fair I likely was going to be awake all night anyway but meh, semantics.

You know I absolutely love all the little references you slip into this story if yours. At first I thought it a bit suspicious that one of the ministers aides was named Nagi and that she had violet hair when mentioned a few chapters ago.
Now I see my initial suspicions were correct. Nagi, Hayato, and Tsunayoshi? You made a Katekyo Hitman reference!
Anyway, I’m going to continue on with the story, it’s absolutely amazing by the way.

TBH it looks like that Kirito is going to end up in a guild with all the female significant characters. Which if it does end up happening i would like it to have a symbolic name like Royal Coven.

I'm not personally convinced there was anything specifically wrong with the Kirito/Asuna ship as much as how Kawahara developed them. Just sayin'. I actually view their dynamic as being not unlike that of Shirou and Rin from the "Unlimited Blade Works" storyline of "Fate/Stay Night", though Asuna is less amoral than Rin, of course. And Kirito is less suicidal than Shirou...though his asspulls make less sense.

I don't mind other ships for Kirito, as long as they're not bad ones. I don't think I've ever seen a decent Kirito/Argo fic, though. Aside from harem fics, and they're seldom done well...

I love your stores, mostly read your Code Geass, Harry Potter and this one. But your tone of your stories and dialogue is great. I love the humor in it too. Both you and Funahomisaki have a low tolerance of misogyny and rapists, that you have your characters give great punishment to them that it Is so refreshing to read. Saw your note about the hospital and I know that while it is June, just wanted to make sure you are ok. I don’t know if you are on the frontlines, were sick or had been visiting someone in the hospital..but I hope everything is ok. My cousin and boyfriend were in contact with someone who tested positive...thankfully they quarantined and got tested and were negative.

A really neat thing, that Kayaba actually indirectly alluded to in the end there? I don't think he'd mind being Keiko's scapegoat in the real world in this matter at all, as long as the few who've noticed that don't eff anything up too badly for his interests in the meantime with that knowledge. It covers his spiritual daughter's ass, and he still gets to guide her in the way he wants along the way. I can see him openly claiming he was well aware that such an argument of his fault could be made, and agreeing with it on record, entirely to take some pressure off of her. He really, really likes her, and what does a good parent do but guide their children to become the best version of themselves they can be while doing all they can to ensure they get the best possible chances to truly be such regardless of the universe's preferences and interference? Or so the ideals claim...

It's also rather amusing that Kayaba might be the person other than her sister and mother most aware of how badly she's going to react to absolutely everything about how the Real World is handling the situation, despite the well-meaning intentions of some of the people involved. Her pragmatism might restrain her slightly, though, when the PR teams' efforts net her an unlimited lifetime supply of all her favorite sundry items, and Asuna's, and Argo's (that might be trickier but I wouldn't put it past any of them including the Broker in question)…
Someday, eventually, we'll get to see which faction on Earth gets the closest/most reactions Guessed Correctly... It should be very entertaining for those of us safely out of the crossfire.

Overall, a quite good story. Grammer and punctuation can use a little more work (sentences and paragraphs run a bit long at times), but otherwise the characters are significantly better than Canon.
I especially like that Kayaba actually has a purpose for the whole thing.

It'd be funny if Kizmel turned into a recurring character. She got inspired by them and decided to become an adventurer herself, or something.

A bit too heavy on the threats and insults, I think. Especially as they were still in the middle of that arena. People would get curious on what they're whispering about.

I'm so glad you're still updating this thing after, what, 4 years? I've run out of good reading material from the other fandoms I'm in and thought of sao being interesting due to authors like you.
