Most folks don't stick around long enough to know this is a sequel. More often than not, the premise of a sequel reduces readership on FFN. You still get kudos for a quick recap of where we are and why we're here.

Suddenly! OMG! Plot twister!

Don't do those. The intro camps around dull dialogue, which leaves no room for foreshadowing. Foreshadowing is awesome. Get some.

"I've seen you've been watering your Rose" scores a wallop of corn points, nada on the grammar front. The pile of shades and dust line is a close contender. Some confusion in the appendix "began to look at the glasses in her hands and puts it".

Might as well agree with the vibe the author's note concludes this small chapter. "Here goes nothing." You can do better. Your surviving fans deserve it. Don't they?
