This is utterly delightful. I have adored your story all along, but this last chapter is a triumph! So many wonderful lines! Every word is perfect! I don't care what the creators come up with for Series Four-your story is my head-canon from now on. Thank you so much for this. I am just so sad that it's over. Can you please write a sequel?

I'm so excited that Mary's creeping back into assassin mode and can't wait to see how you tackle what's to come! I also LOVE the "visibly bored" bit; it makes me feel like you're setting up a justification that even the writers could have presented a bit better. I can never help but think that finding out about Mary's past made John more attracted to Mary-and that perhaps the reason he was so angry with her was because her big reveal illuminated that difficult fact to him. But I digress...

As always, you're writing is consistently brilliant and the juxtaposition of the light-hearted humorous moments with the dark, suspenseful subplot is perfect. It feels just like the show. Looking forward to the next chapter especially!

I could not love this more! I love all the little, wonderful things Mary is learning about John, which draws her to him even more. I love the insight you give us into her mind. You explain things so much more clearly than the creators did! I am thrilled by this story more and more with every chapter.

Very much enjoying this story! I'm curious to see how you handle Mary and Sherlocks interactions. To me, in series 3 in the first 2 episodes sherlock bounces from clueless with his friends and what they might see as immature, with occasional bits of serious maturity, but in episode 3 he's mostly serious and more knowing (albeit surprised by Mary). I personally don't see this as contradictory, although some people do. But it makes his interaction with Mary in HLV more interesting. Anyway I'm looking forward into seeing how you handle it. And of course Mycroft isn't stupid, so I'm wondering what you'll do there as well. Can't wait to read more. BTW, I like Mary a lot in the show and like the rare story that portrays her in a very 3 dimensional way.
