Okay, so I really should have reviewed this ages ago, and I'm not sure why I didn't on any of the other half-dozen times I read this fic, but it's sacrilege not to.
I've never seen The Mummy, but I still really enjoyed this story. I love how you express the characters, and I especially love how you do Leatherhead. He's always a bundle of awesome, and this iteration was even more than most. You have a gift for writing evocatively, and the turn of phrase in your stories is always delightful. Thanks for sharing! :)
I would eagerly read more in this universe, especially how Mikey and Leatherhead met, or more of their adventures. Their bro is just fabulous.

The writing was perfect and descriptive!

well, that was exciting! it'd like... the crossover no one ever knew they needed. it's was great. u love how you matched all the characters together and of course just decided to throw in leathehead to be the other half of Rick That mikey just wouldn't be able to fulfill while still being in character, so it made a nice balance. that, and I love how they didn't stay all the way true to the characters. miey became the sacrifice, donnie got to be the older brother and save him and make up for leaving him behind all those years ago. aw, it was just so sweet. I would love to read the sequel and see how you being in Leo and Raph. this is such a fun Au you've created. good job with this.

Please please please write a sequel for is good to end here

I haven't seen the Mummy in ages, but this was such an awesome ride. I love the brotherly fluff! And maybe hopefully with that snippet you posted on tumblr, we'll see a sequel? I hope so but no pressure!

This makes me sooo happy, and when you said, in the begining chapter one authors note, that this was 'a crossover that literally no one wanted' (I think I paraphrased it) you were wrong because I realize I really and truly wanted thus. And now I want more...see what you've done?! See it! Now I'll be in a hungerfilled daze for more of this story with the rest of the characters (but I love the ones you did put in)!...

I love this, soooo much, and going on to next chapter...yup!

I love this ! One of the best crossovers I've ever read. So gripping and interesting. I did have a problem with Leo and Raph leaving Mikey all alone. It seems so unlike them. I guess they both had their reasons but that still doesn't make it okay. If there is a sequel I will definitely be reading it. If Leo and Raph make an appearance, there is gonna be a lot of tension between the siblings for sure. Once again, awesome story !

That was great! Oh my god you could totally start like a series were they all go off and uncover more mysteries and curses and then maybe that actually do find raph and Leo! That would be so cool! I also love how well you write and bring the characters together, you mixed these to stories really well

I'm actually much more upset with Raph and Leo than I was with Donnie. At least Don left believing his little brother would be in good hands, but Leo and Raph effectively did abandon him, and decided to write but left no return address? They never checked up on him? Do they even know, after all these years, that he left?

I don't know, but the B team and Casey and Leatherhead were so amazingly well done, and it was so sweet. One of my absolute favorite parts was admitting a result of excellent word choice, though. In the movie, Rick shouts, "You're gonna get yours, Beni!" But here Mikey mutters it, speaking the words like he's uttering a fact or a promise, and it goes to show that he's become someone who is quiet and dangerous in his anger. Much of the innocence he had in his youth was beaten out by the world that he fell into, but even if he is hardened, and capable, he's still filled to the brim with love and he still believes that there is more to the world, to people, than the cruelty he sees. He believes people can change, and even if it takes a little longer than it used to, he forgives. And even closer to the beginning, when Mikey sought comfort in Leatherhead because his brother had somehow inserted himself back into his life, and just in time to save it, he protected his brother fiercely, because despite the buried hurt and doubt, Mikey never stopped loving him.

All these incredible characters got the chance to show the best sides of themselves in a crossover with one of my favorite films, by one of my favorite authors. What could honestly be better than that?

This was awesome! I so hope you do the second movie and that Donny and Mikey reunite with Leo and Raph. It would be so interesting to see the older brothers reaction to the trouble that they got into. Also, it would be cool if you brought in April as well. If you don't plan on doing the sequel I understand and this was all good fun while it lasted.
