this is gold! i could see this happening in a one piece filler. at first i was wondering how they would manage tonescape from the base and pull off not getting discovered by shanks' crew but it all made hilarious sense at the end. definitely one of my fave humor and adventure fics

Hahah! This was quite good story, especially an argument between Luffy and Garp in the last chapter XD. I really enjoyed reading this :).

I also loved the G-8 arc and the idea of Strawhats posing as Marines, and I LOVE irony (positive irony, mind you) in One Piece. The ending is perfect and Sakazuki just got owned. This is the kind of fanfic that Oda needs to read to make it CANON. This is my second fav "Just for laughs" One Piece fanfic. No wait, THIS IS MY FIRST FAVOURITE FANFIC ON HERE centering around Comedy specifically! The other one? I wonder if you've read it. It's called "Spades On Screen" by Stormy1x2

Have I never commented to this yet? This fanfic was so entertaining! I enjoyed it so much and the way Usopp lied was both hilarious and awesome XD

Oh my god this was amazing, way better than the G-8 whatever filler thing. I definitely appreciate a good Usopp's-point-of-view story, and he did so well! I'm surprised the ending turned out to work out so well for them hahaha, but they worked so hard for it, it was great. Seriously I'm going to be cracking up for weeks about that ending :D

This was fantastical.

Well, this was pretty awesome man!

This was great! I laughed so much and the interactions between everyone was just amazing. I havent enjoyed many fics this much. I love how original it is, and just a really interesting adventure of the strawhats which I can actually see happen. I just love Ussopp who started the incident, and how ridiculous the lies are and that it all started because Nami wanted berii. Also love Sengoku, Tsuru and especially Garp in this. His interaction with Dragon was amazing, and that little bit of Sabo. I just really loved this. I had to actually stop reading or reread some stuff to calm down, and not start squeeling like a idiot, which failed btw. Everything was just really amazing!

I don't think I've laughed out loud at a fic so much in a long long time! It was really fun! The character interactions are so great I wish they were canon. Garp and Dragon (yay sabo) etc are hilarious and it was a joy to see Shanks and his crew. Overly relaxed and laughing Sengoku is great as well. Nami feeling bad was a nice addition. And I loved that Usopp played such a huge part in this since I don't often get to read about him. Luffy meeting Shanks (that was funny!) being discovered at the end put such a huge smile on my face.
I think everyone is pretty much in character and most of the happenings are true to the nature of one piece. Fun, hilarious, random, full of idiots like bubble guy and gullible marines, yet with good exciting/sad-ish things like Usopp vs Yasopp. This is a story I would read again and still be excited for. Thanks for writing it!
Once again, I wish this was canon ;_; it's just too good!
P.S. I also love the story title

The whole pirate game got me really really excited. And I mean really. I found myself grinning with every shot he managed to pull off, and I felt for Usopp when he didn't make the last one. I almost hoped he had his slingshot with him so he could try again. And looks like things are only gonna get worse for them right now! Never a day of rest for Usopp(and the rest).
Usopp learning that Yasopp tried to look for him gave me a complicated feeling, but mostly it made me go "aww".

I don't really know what to say, but this was really good! The plot is interesting and I'm truly interested in seeing what will happen next, and the character interactions are a joy to watch. Imagining the crew trying to fit into their designated roles was really fun. I wish real one piece fillers were like this!
