I enjoyed this. You have the characters true to...um...life. Nicely done.

This is one of those rare stories that I like, even though I can't buy the premise because the supernatural aspect doesn't feel right for the source material.

That said, with Cordelia moving on with her life it the last book, I wonder if she will ever return to Barrayar so that Sgt. Bothari can lie at her feet as he so desperately wished. I thinks she owes him that much, but it feels like a debt that will never be paid.

I like this! It is very nicely written. But at the same time I have to wonder if I'd like it better without the ghosts. Mark's feelings and introspection are so well done in the first half that the ghosts almost seem unnecessary. But in any case, thanks for posting this.
