This is an interesting variant of the Hiccup leaves Berk trope, and I can't believe I haven't stumbled across it yet, considering I've been bingeing HTTYD stories for close to 2 months now. The insight into Astrid's emotions, specifically, make for an interesting change of pace.

Still, I am concerned that is story is incomplete, and hasn't been updated for close to 8 months. Is this story dead? I really hope not, but I'll probably REALLY hope not once I get through the rest of this story.

Please, please, please, please, please update! I want more!

It's an interesting story, though I'm wondering when or whether if Hiccup will spread his teaching to the other islands like Bog, kinda looking forward to Cami then. Also looking forward to how the Meatheads will change and how Astrid's expedition will go. So great job and keep it up.

Oh it is most definitely different from many of the others. That's what makes it a good read. Don't worry about sporadic updates. Time isn't always easy to carve out.

I can't wait to read more. Please update soon.
