Lexi1981 chapter 9 . 11/22/2016
I can't wait to see what happens next, this story line is better then the story line in the tv show for Donna.
Lilly white tigers chapter 9 . 5/28/2016
interesting
onewildeechild chapter 9 . 5/25/2016
Love the idea of Dr. Drab being Branch's mom. Actually possible since she didn't show up until the funeral scene and then promptly disappeared again. And she might definitely hold a grudge against Walt. Keep up the good work and can't wait to see where the ride takes us!
waltxvic chapter 9 . 5/26/2016
What a creeper. Well she certainly played Walt.
jkwasher chapter 1 . 5/25/2016
Since Donna Sue (catch the foreshadowing play on words with her name?) wouldn't have legal standing for the suit, cue back to Barlow, S3E10, "You always were the thoughtful one..." must be a *daughter,* he says Branch is his only son, but, "I can make another son."
dc807 chapter 9 . 5/25/2016
Hmm...interesting! Hope Vic and Ferg (love the Ferg!) can figure this out and save poor Walt...cause he needs saving! Thank you
Rebelwant2B chapter 9 . 5/25/2016
This is an interesting scenario. I think the story arc in the series of who exactly it is that is suing Walt is interesting from the standpoint that the lawsuit is over Barlow's death not Branch's. The only living/remaining relative is Lucien. Branch's mom would have no standing to sue over the death of her ex. Of course the Longmire writer's have Barlow yelling at Walt at the time of Branch's shooting by David Ridges that he had to interact with his ex and was not happy about it then in S4 she is at the funeral and Cady is having lunch with both Barlow and Branch's mom. Which begs the question if the writers are consistent why two people who loathe one another are having a lunch together. Your story in this chapter hints Donna may be Branch's mom. I thought maybe Branch and/or his Mother might have been Donna's patient at some point. Durant (IMHO) is too small and the families there too long for Branch's mom to be a secret. However Donna rotates around Wyoming treating mostly Vets and Branch came to Walt after military service so it's conceivable their (Branch and Donna) paths crossed at some point. Maybe Donna was obsessed with Walt because of Branch. Or was treating him and met his Mother. I want to see where you take this. The why and where needs to be credible. That's why I think in the series Donna won't be a psycho or drug dealer or dream. She really didn't pursue Walt. In fact she tried like hell to discourage him. He pursued her. And therein lies the credibility factor. If he is this decent honorable man who did all those things in S3 for Vic (Vic, I want you to stay...) then who is the guy in S4 pursuing repeatedly another woman and standing in a dirty alley dealing Vic a verbal death blow. I'm not going to be popular for saying this but I think S4 was a set up for S5 to have the character of Vic leave the series. Your story as well as many others on here struggle with somehow giving reason as to who Donna is. I think the question is not who Donna is but who is Walt? The dynamic between Walt and Vic shifted catastrophically from S3 to S4 and what changed dramatically was Walt not Vic. Although the writers definitely rewriote the character of Vic dramatically as well but near as much as Walt So while I find your story theory interesting I'm waiting to see what credible evidence your creative muse gives you to support the theory of Donna being Branch's mom. Walt nodded to the woman in black at the funeral service for Branch. An indication of recognition and acknowledgement. That begs to differ with him not knowing her. Again Donna didn't appear to me as a psycho but a woman who didn't want another troubled man in her life. The truly psychotic behavior to me was Walt's. His treatment of Vic; his bad hunches about Nighthorse, the Veterans, his Mice and Men hiring practice, and his dogged pursuit of Donna are all drastic reversals of character that speak to an almost psychotic break with reality. A man who was willing sacrifice anything to get what he wants. So that's my two cents. I look forward to seeing where you take your story and how you explain Donna.
LongmireUK fan chapter 8 . 5/22/2016
excellent - wonder what ferg has found?
Rebelwant2B chapter 8 . 5/11/2016
Lol. What could possibly be in Donna's bedroom? Walt's underwear? A wall with a tunnel going to an alternate universe? Drugs? Whatever you come up with will be interesting. Just please don't have her married to the head of the Irish Mafia in Durant. I'd rather they discover that the entire town is populated by Aliens can't wait to see what you come up with.
Lilly white tigers chapter 8 . 5/11/2016
