I don't check the 'M' tagged fictions that frequently so imagine my pleasant surprise at seeing a new story from you! I think your take on Jane and Lisbon is very much in character and you did such a great job of letting Lisbon explore her more mischievous/adventurous side. I can see Jane secretly enjoying surrendering to Lisbon (even he must want a break from always being in control - nice call back to Red Velvet Cupcakes) it was wonderfully empowering for Lisbon to realise that she had a sexual hold on Jane as well as an emotional one.

It was quick and hot and in the moment and very believable. Now I know why Jane had such a big smile when Teresa walked into the bar. In my head canon their child was conceived during the events of Little Yellow House and now you've supplied the moment it happened!

I definitely remember that skit and all that moments.
And though I perfectly understand what you said about the too much explicit stuff and by and large I agree with you. It was great and worth it. You have done an excellent job and the heroes definitely feels in characters.

This was refreshingly in character for an ff M scene between these two. They usually end up with J slamming L up against a wall ... not at all Jane IMHO ... It's something I've always had trouble imagining, I guess because in seven years all we saw was mild 'eye sex', which I perceived as something more like teasing 'eye love', and the odd glimpse of Jane peeking wistfully/lustfully round a door way or through a peephole. I always felt sad for him then.
It was so right to have Lisbon take the lead, given how tentative Jane had been in claiming her and in their first kiss, and given how he had always seemed to respond to her authority; I think it made him feel safe. But I also wonder what their sexual encounters would have been like prior to this one... I can't believe it was the first.
Everything about this was in character, not cheap and physically graphic ...knew we could trust you.

Your humor as always is on fire! And I enjoyed the give and take between Jane and Lisbon as always. Some other things that I enjoyed were Jane’s observations about how Lisbon dressed because of her job (at CBI) and how your story fit into the episode. This is more of your fine writing!

That was great and I'm sure this could have happened! I think it was sexy but not smutty - that's the way I like M-rated stories most. Very well done!
