I made it to third year. The writing is a bit of a pain and feels way too detached. Harry is annoying. The other characters are overly affectionate and similarly annoying. You change things up but still somehow stick very closely to canon... too closely given the changes. I’m also kind of put off by you changing Harry’s race. It’s not that he’s black that’s the issue, it’s that you felt the need to make such a pointless change. It means nothing and changes nothing from canon, so why bother?

Despite a few spelling and grammatical errors, this is probably the most well written HP fanfic I've ever read.

However, your story had me enthralled from the beginning and I'm sad and disappointed that it's come to an end. In short, please don't change a thing about this. Perhaps just proofread and edit the few spelling and grammar mistakes but other than that... nothing at all needs to change. This was completely perfect and I loved it.

Well... I was not prepared for this story, but I loved it all the same. Once I started reading, I counldn't stop until I reached the end. You can take it as a huge compliment that I was invested enough to cry twice during this, as yours has been the only story out of hundreds to ever cause that.
