God damn it! You were doing SO well, then you went and fucked it up by deciding we needed first-person pov! I cannot adequately convey how much I hate first-person writing. And it seems utterly pointless as you'd already given us Harry's perspective in third-person pov. It's just a mess.

your timekeeping is a little off by my count. about 11 months passed since harry used the sorcerer's stone which would put the date some time at the end of third year. then you said 6 months to create Elena's identity so that would then be sometime in October or November of fourth year at the latest.

Stopped reading at the beginning of the 1st chapter. Your story looks promising, but you are mixing the past and present, it is really annoying to read. Hope you'll get that fixed.

Plenty of cringe worthy moments here, still going to read it though.
Tip: I don't think anyone would ever say 'damn i look hot' when they are in pain without being shocked by their new appearance, which i don't see why many fan fiction writers even make the characters have a drastic change of appearance within the first chapter or two. Kinda takes away from the character.
