Well, that was just lovely. Having more of Peggy's backstory is wonderful and this was a great use of it in fic. Thanks for sharing.

I must say I am really loving all your Steve/Peggy Carter fics. I love them and I hate how little time they got together.

This was very sweet.

It's no wonder Steve couldn't find Peggy right away when he learned about what happened to her brother. But I liked how you had her not push Steve away because Peggy didn't want to be alone in her grief.

I also enjoyed how Peggy shared her brother with Steve.

The best part was when she let him hug her. That showed her feelings for him.

The ending was wonderful.

A lovely, gentle story that seems like it fits as a beginning - both to their story and to a longer one by you (hint, hint).
