in all seriousness, wonderful, wonderful fic. adam is maybe my fave of the trio and i love any fic that takes a look inside his head. this is really sad but also really good. and i've always felt like adam chose to stick behind at the academy because he couldn't take any more change or shake-ups. but the poor kid... he hadn't been away from bree and chase since he was a baby.

The ending though was very sad :S While I get while Elite Force was made, I kind of felt it strange as well that the Team was separeted after so many episodes in Lab Rats ending with the fact that they are the best together...

This one definitely tugged at my heart strings. I loved how you revealed Adam to be more than what he is portrayed on the show. You brought light to the fact that there is way more to Adam than what meets the eye and that's what I liked - no, loved MOST about this.

This was really good. I love how it shows the inner being of Adam. It is so well written and so amazing.

I love this so much! I love how you use juxtaposition between Adam's complicated family and simple math; it shows how Math isn't the easiest thing for him but he absorbs these new additions to his family pretty easily. It was really sweet! I also love how you mentioned that Adam subtracted one father and added another without realizing it. That is something I have always thought about, especially for Adam since he is the oldest. How come they never remembered him?
Anyways, amazing work. I can't wait to read more of your writings!

Aw. Adam. :( I like how you went through all the additions AND subtractions in his life, and that you wrote a one-shot about Adam based around something mathy. I didn't think that was possible. o.o And I love how you included even Daniel and Marcus and all of them. It was so great! I'm sad about the show ending, but then again, nothing from here on out can contradict our fanfics. XD We'll have the complete canon (except for the spin-off, of course), which I think will be nice in some ways. But anyway. This was really sweet, and you wrote Adam well, which I know is hard for some people. (AKA, me. XD) Keep up the great work!

That was amazingly fantastic. Blow my mind good. It was development in the purest form of the word, the development of the Davenport family, from the original three right down to the former soldiers. It was superbly written, and I finally got a glimpse of how Adam felt about all the change he went through (it sure was a lot). Fabulous job!

Wow, this was so heartfelt and touching. I loved it. Everything about it was amazing. You know, on the outside, Adam may seem dumb, goofy, and immature, but on the inside, you never know what Adam is like. Maybe he thinks about a lot of things, like this for example. I loved so many things about this story. I loved the metaphor of addition. I loved that you went through all the characters that mean so much to Adam. I loved all the allusions too, especially to the series finale and Elite Force. It's really going to be bittersweet for me, but at least when it's over, we'll still have the memories, the show to watch over and over again, and many more fanfictions to write that will last forever. And who knows, maybe when Elite Force comes around, it'll be just as awesome as Lab Rats and Mighty Med were. (My only critique would be that Adam and Leo won't be in the show. They better at least have a few guest appearances!)
Point is, Lab Rats is nothing without Adam and Leo, or any of the other characters for that matter.
Anyways, this was a very long review! But I had a lot to say about this story! That's a good thing, right? You're definitely one of my favorites though, EmeraldTulip! I can't wait for more amazing stories from you! :D

You know what you did to me with this story? It's like you took the biggest and strongest sledgehammer you can find and then struck me right at the heart at full speed - even doing so in the most stylistic and poetic way possible. I mean, wow. This is so great. This has got to be your best writing as of yet. It's so deep. You managed to add so many layers to Adam as a character while still staying true to him.

There are so many lines here that I just love, seriously, so the best I can do is to favorite this whole thing. But what stood out the most was the ending. This is enough to make a grown person cry! It's really sad, and it puts the impending departure of two of the original Lab Rats Four in such a heartbreaking but realistic light.

There BETTER be a good explanation to why Adam and Leo aren't in EF. I will flip. I mean, Bree and Leo and Douglas are my favorite, but I've always liked goofy Adam. This was such a sweet and emotional testimate to such an overlooked and undersued character (tbh, I feel like lately it's more like Billion Dollar Freshman; Leo and Chase and Donald plots, with Adam and Bree there like 'hey'). I'm so glad he didn't die. xx
