AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THIS WAS SO GOOD! I've been reading this for days! It's taken up pretty much all my free time! Gotta say I was a bit wary about reading a fic with chichi and piccolo as the pairing but goodness me did you deliver a stellar romance! It felt so real! The natural slow burn from enemies to friends to lovers; absolutely wonderful.
And the Gohan Piccolo stuff! That was everything I wanted and more. dude's a much better father (your Goku is wonderful too btw, well meaning and loving but obliviously selfish) for Gohan! Gruff Mr. Junior slowly warming up to the kind hearted kid without changing his core personality! And Gohan slowly learning to stand up for himself between all the influences in his life. Perfect. You didn't avoid conflict too, even after they were all friends. That's rare in these sort of fics without delving into misunderstandings so yay!
And don't get me started on your writing style man! Like your prose is so engaging! It's beautifully paced and reads so easily. I hardly ever found myself skipping over action for dialogue, which is a real problem I have with some novels.
This was a fun, enticing, wonderful, brilliant, enjoyable read that is now going into my rotation of fanfiction I read every few years. Thanks for writing it!

The plot, the dialogue, the character development, (I'm cackling at vegetas antics still) and the pairings...just, ugh this is the good shit. I CRY so beautiful. it's actually ended. everything i could ever want, and you actually kept to the dbzish plotline in chi chi having goten instead of piccolo's...um...let's just call them babies, or piccolo having...ok. yeah, just keeping with the plotline. nice. loved the little touches of vegeta being a total bamf and kind of fatherly to trunks and videl, bulma being annoying/flirty, videl's progress into total badassery, and piccolo's shyness. hands down one of the best fics i've ever read (and i've been around). hope i don't need to tell you to be proud and feel accomplished.
