OMG! I read this twice and it’s still good! When I first read it, what Kirby been through reminded me of myself: putting up high expectations on myself. I remembered when I first got depression and I hoped Kirby might get a happy ending and he did. For the relationship between Meta Knight and Kirby, your writing did perfected it! Seeing how they’re like a father and son warmed my heart. Related or not. Also, your writing is powerful! I actually got scare of Kirby in Chapter 5 when he showed his rage. You got some talent and I hope you keep writing stories.

I love scrolling through the older pages of and finding little gems like this.

If Meta Knight used his cape in a courtship dance, I can't help but imagine he'd dance flamenco! With a flourish of guitar and castanets!

WHOA I was just blown away that the cappies actually did something nice? (Although it's still funny that the whole town was still outdone by a single penguin who doesn't even have NME to call anymore.) I wonder how long that's going to last...but I got my puffball moment; I got a whole chapter full of it. I am satisfied. That was delicious. ...and I'm not talking about the cake. Wow, they even bothered to remember his favorite kind of cake, too...? Maybe they really are sorry...for a while.

I think you wrapped up every point that you brought up throughout the previous chapters, so I won't go through and list them all again...but seriously, bookends are one of your skills; I should expect that at this point. Ahhh, Meta and Kirby got to talk things out, though not under the best circumstances. And Dedede tells Meta Knight that he's sorry; didn't expect that since this an anime fic, so that was a really nice surprise! I'm so used to anime fics treating Dedede like a complete waste of space or a total ass, so I wasn't sure what you were going to do about him.

Overall, this was a really nice ride! Kirby gets to fly, the cappies get yelled at, puffballs got to talk...okay, I know other stuff happened too, but that alone was enough to satisfy me without even-oh wait, there was an Amazing Mirror reference too! Anyway, really enjoyed this! It was a lot of fun to read (and reread :D). Can't wait to see what you'll do next!

Despite knowing that they were possessed, I still can't help but frown upon the cappies, especially since their reactions after they were released from possession...noooo, that's not how you thank the person (puffballs) who just saved your lives. But again, that's how society is, unfortunately. Poor Kirby...(and I guess technically I should include Meta Knight, even though he didn't show whether he was offended or not, but...if he was hurt by it before, I'm assuming it still at least stings some)

Ah, puffball bonding time coming up! The one good thing that comes out of everyone hating you is that at least the one other alien on the planet who cares about you will take a few moments to personally talk with you.

Ahhh, the cappies are pure jerks. They sound exactly like the majority of society do today; willing to believe something because it's a media stereotype, ungrateful when helped, and expect everyone to wait on them hand and foot every hour of the day, and get mad when you leave for a minute.

No Kirby, they're not worth it. Of course, being an optimist, I know you won't leave it at that; even if you dwell on it for a while, you'll still help them when they need it (even if they don't deserve it). Where's Meta Knight's Revenge when you need it?
(...okay, I know that the majority of humanity will always blame others for everything, buuut I still find it disgusting regardless. That's why I chose the career path I did. :'D)

Ah, Meta Knight. I love your pessimism, because that's exactly what I was thinking. Even if people aren't evil, a lack of intelligence means pretty much the same thing. And Meta's making him review the construction of spaceships...? o.o Maybe the repairing part, but constructing them will take years of hell and torture to learn; it's not practical for just anyone. Although I guess both Kirby and Meta Knight have plenty of years to supply for that matter, but sheesh...Maybe that's why Kirby just steals blueprints in Mass Attack instead of building a ship from scratch.

Don't stores usual PAY their employees for their work? You'd think Kirby would catch on to that excuse after a few guilt trips, although I don't even remember if Kawasaki is paying him with anything, so maybe that didn't even cross his mind.

And NO, the first flight isn't this chapter? Aw, dang...Well, still enjoyed it regardless! Loving the cappies' intelligence. :p

'Courting purposes'? You've got me curious now, Meta. Why'd you have to go and cut Tuff off?

Anyways, this was the moment we've all been waiting for, plot-wise; can't wait to see Kirby fly! Or at least, be able to test out his new wings. Wasn't sure if you were going to let Tiff and Tuff in on the secret originally; wonder how they'll play out in the grand scheme of things?
(...actually I already know how it ends because I'm reviewing so long after I read it, but a cosmic penguin can do her best. ;)

After being able to use an infinite amount of copy abilities without a catch, including Wing, a puffball must suffer physical torture to get their own wings. I don't think you should've explained it in such detail then, Meta. Though I suppose you could've said a lot more on the matter, hm?
I wonder how that talk went, though? :p

Perhaps someday, the cappies will finally realize that they have an alien child (and Meta Knight, too) among them and that they aren't the same as a living mushroom, but I think that hypothesis is a bit absurd. The cappies will never be that intelligent.
