Another brilliant chapter! I absolutely love this fic. It's so well-written and I just love the way you write the characters. The conversation between Poe and Rey was very well-written as well. It was natural, in character, and also had this emotional weight to it in parts, especially when they were discussing the torture and bonding over their shared traumatic experience.

Overall, I've thoroughly enjoyed this fic. You've done a fantastic job writing Poe and Rey and their newfound friendship. Well done!

Another great and well-written chapter! I really liked the interaction between Karé and Poe. Some great natural, well-written, in character dialogue. I also liked the bit at the end with Rey. You've got a brilliant understanding of her character and it really shows in your writing.

[She was ashamed that the the feeling made her tear up. Comfort had never been part of her life and this stranger gave so freely of his own comforts] Her reaction here is both heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. Having experienced so little comfort in her life, it makes perfect sense that Poe extending all this kindness and comfort to her would make her emotional.

I love this! It's great and so well-written. You've written Poe and Rey perfectly in character, very true to the way they are in the films. You've done a great job of capturing Poe's charismatic personality and the way he looks out for people, and you've incorporated so many little details about Rey that are quite significant to her character (happy about the idea of a proper shower, in awe at Poe's picture of Yavin 4, automatically assuming that Poe has an ulterior motive for being so kind and helpful, etc.). The interaction you've written between them is so natural and definitely seems like a realistic (and sweet) first meeting for them.

["Can you believe this? Lend a guy your jacket and it comes back like this."] I really liked this line. Definitely sounds like something Poe would say, making a lighthearted joking comment even though deep down he would be really worried about Finn.

["You're the best pilot in the galaxy," she said, her voice a little rough from sleep. He gave a startled laugh. "What?" She cleared her throat. "That's what Beebee-Ate told me on Jakku. He said his master was the best pilot in the galaxy."] Loved this bit of dialogue too.

Overall, a brilliant chapter. I really enjoyed reading it, and I'm now keen to read the others.

This officially my new favorite thing. I really like seeing Poe and Rey interact. I also like exploring some of Poe's PTSD after torture a la Ren. You used good grammar, (thank God) and everyone was nicely in character. Kudos!

I really hope you update soon! I'm really enjoying how Poe is trying to help Rey adjust to base life but at the same time how hesitant he is to develop any kind of feelings for her. This is going to be one heck of a ride I'm sure!

This is one of the best post-TFA stories I have read. The dialogue feels very natural and all the events that take place feel like they could have happened. Please, please, please continue the story. Can't wait to see what happens next!
