Wow. That is really a lovely recap of their relationship. Especially like that you wrote it from Jack’s point of view, with all his emotions through their developing relationship. He almost lost her a least twice: King Memses and he thought he lost her by the car crash.

Damn, this is good. Also, damn won't let me copy and paste so I can't point out passages I really, really love and I'm too lazy/pressed for time to retype and then cut and paste. If it were one or two passages only, I'd do it, but there are too many and the task too daunting.

Instead I can say that I love the lyrical and poetic elements in this especially. The writing is so well constructed in tempo and tone. It's just beautiful.
I love the insight into Jack's mind. I find this very believable. His inner thoughts are complex and measured.
The character voices are perfect. They are who they are.

Lovely story. Painful on Jack's part though. It was like going through all the tender moments from most of the episodes again, and the three dialogues were perfectly in character.

Ahhh. I loved this story the first 10 times I read it and it's possible I love it even more here on FF.

And, I found another favorite line: "If he went to bed now she would fade by morning and he would lose her all over again."

I love how you've captured so many sad and frustrating and poignant and funny and ultimately hopeful moments in their slow and close waltz.

Lovely! So much emotion and introspection. I really enjoyed it and especially like the end with the swallow pin signifying the future and her return to him.
