Jesus, this is beautiful. I don't understand parts of it, but I think that's one of the reasons I love it so much. This is precisely the kind of writing I love, not so much plot-driven, just pretty writing and character development. Only mistake I saw: If there's on habit - should be "one" habit.

This is lovely, like a fairytale with a happy ending. Now Ianto will do what Rose asked and keep Jack from ever having to be alone again, and they'll travel among the stars forever.

Woah. This was just beautiful. So spoiler alert: my favorite thing in the universe are the stars. I love you gave life, which was gorgeous.

Ianto being a fallen star, send to watch over Jack, to bring him happiness? That was just so beautiful. I loved it so much. I am curious about the stars, though. Where they they same stars each time? Where they the stars that were closest to star!Ianto? How did they appear to Ianto? Closer than normal stars with faces or something else? Also, very curious about the Lady in gold. Why was she so invested in Jack's happiness.

Usually, I find parentheses jarring, but I think they worked perfectly here. Along with the second POV. Another favorite of mine. I really enjoyed the whole "stars burning" thing. That worked very well here. And I like that you brought it back often. I think it helped reinforce the idea of Ianto burning as well.

The mere idea of the stars story telling is awesome in itself, but the fact that they don't have a sense of time is even better.

I really enjoyed the fact that the "creation" of Ianto Jones is revealed mid-story. I think it gives it some mystery, which I like, very much. So it all works out.

So Ianto comes back to life on Earth? What happens to star!Ianto? Though, got to admit, this totally works in my Ianto came back to life!headcanon. :)
