bashful rake chapter 13 . 7/17/2018 I loved the interaction between Cho and Jane, when Jane was staying at Cho's apartment. I do wonder at Lisbon's permissive attitude when Jane us visiting Red John. That seems out of character for her. |
DirtyPopsicles chapter 36 . 8/25/2016 I finally finished this! I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the story, and I really enjoyed the way it was written, executed, and brought to fruition. I apologize profusely for being late in my reviews, but I wanted to give this the attention it deserved. I am so glad I did. You have a great way with words that lend to the story. Thank you for the wonderful story, and for the wonderful ending for our two lovers. |
Azucar chapter 36 . 6/21/2016 Wonderful conclusion! Sad about no children due to the injury but, adoption could be an option too! Looking forward to your writing again! Sugar |
ocz555 chapter 36 . 6/4/2016 Thank you for writing this engaging story. I enjoyed each and every chapter and love your unique style of writing :) |
Guest chapter 21 . 6/3/2016 John Robie. Nice. :) Love this story. It's really quite interesting with the small cases, the big arc, and Jisbon. And love it that Cho so knows - as I never believed the canon the show gave us: that he didn't see Jisbon! :) |
mayzee chapter 36 . 5/31/2016 Great to see Minelli save the day! And a lovely honest ending to this wonderful story. Thank you so much for your dedication to this tale and the hours I've enjoyed reading it. I look forward to a new story from you in the future. Thanks again. |
ReadingVoraciously chapter 36 . 5/31/2016 A very realistic and satisfying conclusion to this intriguing and intricate story! I'll miss it, and I look forward to your next story. |
breath-of-spring chapter 36 . 5/31/2016 Wonderful ending to a great story! I loved that proposal, it was just perfect. Thanks so much for writing this! |
Guest chapter 36 . 5/31/2016 I don't like the ending. They deserved to be a parents and have their own child. If you didn't want that you simply could skip it and leave this subject to our imagination. |
LouiseKurylo chapter 36 . 5/31/2016 Fine ending, befitting a fine story. I much appreciate the realism. Law enforcement is a dangerous field and it is unrealistic to imagine they will always escape serious harm by the skin of their teeth. Then, during recovery, PT, and home life with a disability, it is a breath of honesty that all is not sweet hearts and flowers. Being in pain sucks. Disability is endlessly irritating and the people around are likely to take the brunt of the frustration. The most devoted and patient care taker eventually tires of being on the receiving end of frustration and anger that they had no role in making. (What a refreshing antidote to all the dreamy fics that start out with some off the wall notion that it's wonderful to "be taken care of.") Lisbon and Jane ended up at a comfortable, workable compromise and that's about as good as life ever gets. Similarly, it is believable that the SCU team members would move on (surprising that Van Pelt and Rigsby are not a couple - another worthwhile variation), that it would be bitter-sweet for Lisbon and Jane, and that they, too, would feel the need to look forward to different options. Thank you for many hours of enjoyment. |
FiascoWay chapter 36 . 5/31/2016 What a fantastic conclusion to your story. What I truly loved is the bittersweet elements you introduced. Rather than it being all sunshine and lolly pops and cute little babies you injected a much more realistic ever after. These are flawed people and they aren't always at their best. Jane being over protective and Lisbon turning bitter and vindictive is totally believable. As is them having friends willing to step in and help them see the light. I also appreciated that Lisbon's sacrifice was exactly that, a sacrifice. She pays a high price and in so doing comes to appreciate that blind service to justice does not lead to a fulfilling life. Lisbon doing the proposing was brilliant, as far as I can tell pretty much a first for TM fiction. It was beautifully done and perfectly in character. Finally I liked the tiny little character sketches you included for the supporting cast. Karen's fearlessness in calling out Jane; Cho's emotionally charged squeeze of the hand (for some reason it made me recall the glove scene in Age of Innocence) and also the fact Grace and Rigsby actually got a future that didn't have them being together. I can totally see Rigsby running around trying to please a high maintenance woman and Grace's career ambitions would be perfectly suited to life in Texas and the FBI. What a fantastic ride, I'm sorry to hear work is still so crazy, but live in hope you'll find time to begin another project. I just know it will be a great one. Thank you. |
Cutebeekeeper chapter 35 . 5/22/2016 Finally got a chance to start his marvelous fic. It's really so very good. Love the cases, the New Order arc, Jisbon and the beaautiful way you've portrayed the Red John demise and the post Red John arc. AND we don't have to go down the horrid Pike arc... :) Looking forward to the next chapter. :) |
Clover81 chapter 35 . 5/17/2016 Wow! That took a scary turn! I was worried what would happen to her - to them - and then whew, she's ok. And they still have this huge badguy network on the verge of coming down! A lot at once! But I'm so glad she's ok! |
Azucar chapter 35 . 5/15/2016 Wiggling toes! Yes! There is hope! Loving this stoy! Great update - so much juicy drama and feelings everywhere (even Cho!) and then, the sinister nature of New Order infiltrated everywhere, oh its a great 's points to Rutherford on people surviving shows he gets it and understands the big picture, compared to Rutherford, although, the whole concept is a bit unsettling and Abbott's thoughts showed that! Looking forward to more! Sugar |
MartyMc49 chapter 35 . 5/13/2016 It's a Minelli miracle! I have always really liked Minelli and was overjoyed when Jane brought May into his life. It's as though another good deed of Jane's has come back to him ten fold. As for wiggling her toes - Lisbon is one tough cookie and I'm sure the two of them together can do anything. |
