Haha, poor Haruhi! It seems her momma instincts are kicking in full-time. This is a cute story, I hope you one day find the time to continue this. It’s been an enjoyable read thus far! :)

I like how we name their daughters after their grandmothers (also applies to sons and grandfathers); it’s so cute! Mine also has both Kotoko and Anne (switch the names with Kotoko being first). Honour Mrs. Fujioka (Ranka would be one proud grandpa)! This chapter is also so cute. x)

Now I’m just wondering how long Anne has been in the hospital, considering that she’s a premature baby. In the end, let’s hope Haruhi’s efforts aren’t wasted. This may, however, end when her many boisterous uncles and aunts (and grandparents) dote on her to the point she’s compost (that’s a weird metaphor, hehe). Keep up the great work! ;)

I wonder if Haruhi has any other vase-breaking incidents on her imaginary criminal record. I’m sorry if it’s supposed to be humourless but I just found Haruhi’s animal scream a real kicker for the laughs (I imagined an odd sound haha). The chapter itself is also quite nice; we all have bad days!

It makes me wonder if Haruhi is only unable to do haircuts on herself. The first time that happened was the solution to the gum incident shortly after middle school, and the result of that cut was certainly rather . . . mediocre. But anyway, good chapter! :)

So, just a quick note here. I'm not sure if you've ever been around a premature baby before, but a child that is more than six weeks early would NOT have been able to go home with her parents. More than likely she would have been taken to the neonatal intensive care unit (or NICU) and would have stayed there until her due date (or when she passed the "thrive test" which is at least 4lbs and breathing/ eating in her own without the need for medical intervention). Once home, odds are good that she would have still required oxygen (due to underdeveloped lungs) and 24/7 monitoring. That the Suohs took their at least 8 week preemie home a few days after being born with no complications is unbelievable at best. I would consider rewriting to reflect a more realistic view of what would have happened under those circumstances. However, please note that aside from this one aspect, your story is wonderful and, I feel, you have kept the characters very true to themselves. Well done.
Sorry, I guess my small note turned into a small novel. Oh well. I look forward to reading more of your work.
