You could focus on the war with the Aogiri Tree members. They could do a raid on the 25th ward possibly looking Kaneki due to him being a Half-Ghoul. You could also do Touka's brother escaping to join the Aoigiri tree as well. Focus on building the relationships of characters and the loss of this war. Kaneki meeting Eto and all that. You can also focus on Kaneki becoming the CCG's Centipede (Like Arima) or him joining the Aogiri Tree. There are many ways you can go down, you just need to think about them. You could also have Kaneki's family killed by one of the two sides and add drama to it. You could also add in Quinx squad and how Kaneki becomes their leader/supervisor. You should probably have Ayato join Aogiri next and when Kaneki joins the CCG as a Agent or Hunter (Person who tries to Kill or Capture Dangerous Rogue Ghouls). He could be partnered with Quinx Squad, Mado and Amon, or even Juuzo and Shinohara. Sorry if I spelled anything wrong here, it's a bit difficult remembering the names of everything from the top of your head.

He is probably a hound due to these reasons: 1. A Half Ghoul is typically more powerful than the standard Ghoul. 2. Half Ghouls have a better taste and smell than humans and ghouls that can be used to draw out other Ghouls. 3. Kaneki has a unique healing factor that is much more powerful than any other Ghouls known. 4. He is more likely going to trust the other investigators and follow their orders than other Ghouls. 5. He has the potential to be the next Arima or possibly even more powerful than him. 6. He is simply unique being the first Half Ghoul in CCG custody and having one fighting other Ghouls would be a good thing for Pro Ghoul/Human Propaganda. 7. Most investigators just want him in that position, exp- Juuzo, Mado (He wants his Kagune if Kaneki does Die), Director of CCG, etc.

Okay heres an idea.

On a mission kaneki gets captured by that one doctor or yamori and they do that torture stuff . He vecomes 100x stronger. You shuld do that :D i like white haired kaneki more xD

This is a good story! I love the alternate reality, with all the little details that really clue you in to what's going on, like the cup of coffee beans you get for the petting zoo, the fighting arenas, the manipulation. If you want to cut if off with one more closing chapter you probably could, but I could also see it going on longer. Like maybe Aogiri Tree thinks it's humiliating to see ghouls treated as dogs and wants to liberate them or something? Or there's an interior movement to fight for more ghoul rights? Just ideas. Something to work on would be your pov. Sometimes it throws me off and confuses me. Looking forward for more of the story! I like how things are going.

Hi idk what to say... about the inspiration issue, maybe make this one an episodic story rather than a full- on novel type thing? This chapter would make a perfect example of an episodic story, if it was a bit longer. Maybe put together short stories as chapters. I don't know, just trying to come up with some ideas.
