I remember the TV episode when they were holding Deeks underwater and I thought to myself this is not going to be an episode I want to see again. I was surprised when Deeks didn't go to the hospital with her Usually he would insist. We never saw them spar too much in the episode, but it seems Deeks always held back and never wanted to hurt his partner. I've told you this before you are a wonderful writer. Thank you

THIS is what fanfiction was created for! Filling in the blanks that were left out of the episode but really shouldn't have been. I was annoyed that TPTB didn't address the fact that Kensi was nearly raped, or refer to any kind of further outcomes. You did both, and you did it beautifully. And thanks too for the conversation about partners vs. them. You definitely nailed these characters!

Oh I loved this. Especially the end where they were so open about their relationship and joking with Sam and Callen. I really do think Deeks feels like this, that they are partners second. And I think if Kensi really thought about it, she'd say the same for herself. So good job. You always write them so true to character, I love your stories. Hope there are many more to come!
