I just realized, wouldn't water be scalding hot to humans if they live in -45 degrees f temperature rooms all the time? Also wouldn't the food be frozen solid as well as basically everything else unless there was no water in the air?

Interesting, but I really hope you separate scenes with a scene break. You kept jumping between the POV of T'lenna and Hacker and it was jarring with no line to separate them.

Even if the turians were the last race to join the citadel before humanity, they had already developed an interstellar civilization long before. Around the time the asari were putting the council together, the turians were engaged in a galactic war of their own. Unification wars? Update soon.

Humanity gains nothing from war, it would be best to strike at time of weakness, instead of display willingness to help the Asari, since they appear to be the 'good guys', it's so short sighted.
