On Earthland, a human body can contain a certain amount of magic energy, called Eternanos, that they continually absorb from the world around them. By absorbing and channeling this magic energy their body becomes immune or adjusts to the magic. (Gray and Natsu aren't bothered by extreme cold, the dragons had to make themselves antibodies to make sure the dragon slayers didn't become completely dragon, Jet's speed magic) Also as you said before, the magic circles and runes are similar to their alchemy circles
