I loved this fanfic.

That never really made sense. All of a sudden, he's like, "I'll record a hero's death, might as well not try supporting this dude who has clearly made many miracles before and escaped the worst situations, because that'll be so much better than supporting him and then getting to record his epic victory that was never in question to me, the fanatical reporter/manipulator/spy/follower." This... this is the true canon for me, the official R2 episodes after that are mere fanon from the creators, nothing more.

Basically, how it should have ended.

My dick went from sleepy to a thousand leecent erect. That was satisfying. To say in the least, I actually like Diethard's character more in the Black Knights faction, seeing as you can see him as the one who controls everything in the Organization, from the logistics to intelligence and such. Sort of like Petyr Baelish, without the lust for power.

All the yes. I really enjoyed this short snippet, as Diethard has always been one of my favourite characters. You ARE correct that he is theoretically the only one who would have been capable of accomplishing something like this. So yeah- I enjoyed this greatly. Would have likely led to a less depressing ending than the canonical route. Thanks, and so long and thanks for all the fish. Undying Soul out.
