This was beautiful. I had tears in my eyes reading this. I never really stopped to ponder who wrote "The Fall of Gil-galad" but it would make sense if Elrond wrote it. Great job.

I think it makes perfect sense that it would be Elrond who penned "The Fall of Gil-Galad", since he was fighting at the king's side when he was killed in battle. After all, who else would write such ballads, but an elf who witnessed the event. Just like I've no doubt that Glorfindel has written many a poem about Gondolin.
