A clever and very satisfying one-shot, with so much back story weaved into it. The only thing that stops it being outstanding are the Americanisms (elevator, it sucked etc) which break the tone of the characters which are otherwise very well captured.

Can I just say that I love your stories? You have an amazing talent that most people would die for. You don't ramble and have the kind of succinctness that most English teachers would be proud of. My favourite story that you have written would probably be "Sin and Vice" and I thought that you managed to catch the gist of war and life during the war quite well. Thank you for being an amazing author whose stories help me relax after a nice long day of classes.

Fabulous! It stands alone - but would be a great beginning of a (undoubtedly fabulous) longer tale. You are such an amazing writer!

This was quite lovely and I would love to know just where she apparated them off to, an apartment perhaps? I really loved the way that you told your story here, just jumping straight in with little backstory. It's reads like this that just kind of grab you and wrap you up in the moment. It was all a very nice experience. The only critique that I can think of, is that I'd probably like to have seen a tad more of a realistic aspect to their sudden declarations of love having never shown each other inklings of their feelings before. But other than that, this was very nice.
