It is really quite funny. I've been looking for this kind of story, where they actually treated him as if he were the demon/yōkai.
I also think his childhood is represented in a ridiculous manner by most fanfiction writers. I believe this would be much more realistic if they indeed treated him as if he were the Kyūbi.
