I love this story and I love the characters!

I am sorry, STEVE is angry? People are telling him sorry and comforting him? He's been a manipulative, lying, controlling and downright abusive bastard and when she leaves him people are trying to look her up for him? What kind of logic is that? None of his excuses matter. In fact she was too nice in her letter by telling him she might understand. This was wrong and a betrayal plain and simple. He didn't even properly apologize or regret what he did and neither did her crazy family that she really should cut ties with. I can see one character being this horrible but three? How are they to decide such a thing? She's not an invalid and I am pretty sure it's actually illegal too and that she could sue them and win. And on top of it after everything, he's still controlling g trying to locate her and saying she can't take care of herself because she has a mental breakdown? And others are so cool with 'bringing her back' to him like that's so alright? Like she should even get back to a person who treated her like that? I mean, I was already hating on him and slightly the others when they were speaking in the gym about 'letting' her go back as if they have any say like she's a child, about him knowing it and about her having to go through psych and wishing she won't pass. It made them all so controlling and abusive already and is definetly not canon but regardless to that, the end made this so much worse. This may be the time I hate these characters the most.

Man, I agree with Steve. She's stupid, like they both have their own demons. Why can't she just handle stuff from behind the scenes like what she did before on the coms. Like tell them the info and stuff? You're still helping? I mean I get it but at the same time I don't. This is a good story though!

Sorry but you put that tony was 15 when his parents died but he wasn't. Tony was born in 1970 and his parents died in December 1991 which would have made him 21. It does actually tell you this in one of the iron man films.

Wow. This story is one hell of a roller coaster! Ups and downs and twists and turns. I don't usually read Cap-centric fics but I really did like this! Rory can be a bit much to handle at times with the way she refuses help she needs, but that makes her interesting and most definitely not a Mary Sue so thank you for that.

I'm heading straight over to the sequel to continue the saga. I've been dying to get to that story because I absolutely am in love with Bucky so please treat him well. ;) I don't know where you'll take him but I hope he has some sort of love interest. What can I say? It's the romantic in me.

At any rate, kudos for a well-thought out, well-written fic.

YAAAAAAS! I stayed up til 4am last night reading this and it's currently 2am now but this story was so worth it! I have so much to say about this fic.
For starters, I'm sad that they broke up, but im glad that they did. Steve was becoming waaaaay too overbearing and controlling. They definitely need a reset on their relationship. Also, I love your detail characterisations of characters with PTSD. That's a big theme in this story, I feel. But one that you pull off well as well as some inner thoughts that I personally related to. It's marvelous.

Also, yaaaaaay Australia! I live in Australia and I couldn't stop smiling every time you mentioned it. I'm not sure if you're Australian but if you ever need some details in the sequel for how things are run/how people act in Australia you just let me know.

Now I've gotta start the sequel to this one because it's only 2am and I've got 2 more hours to kill before I break my 4am record.

P.S. Can you make Nat and Clint get together? But them work for it, this isn't a damn fairytale. I want drama. DRAMA!
