Yes! I think you're getting somewhere here. The characterization is much better.

The narration still feels impersonal, though, but I chalk that down to you using a third-person omniscient narrator, as opposed to the first-person one seen in the novels.

This chapter is okay. There's a lot of action though, and not much characterization. It all feels very impersonal.

At least the setting is nice.
