This was sweet. It was well-written, like all your stories, and I enjoyed it a lot. I haven't watched any of the show this season; it's all so dark and violent. I just want something to go right. For anyone. It's kind of amazing that things can be bad for all the characters all the time. You'd think someone would benefit. I guess Littlefinger is doing pretty well. Anyway... Thanks for sharing this. I like your happy one-shots for this truly depressing series.

THIS is how it should've been.

I understand the need for something happier, but I think Stannis always was the sort of person who when the chips were down would do what Melisandre told him to. My surprise was when after the last episode everyone thought Stannis might not sacrifice her in the end.

yeah. they ruined Stanis'es charecter. IF that were to happen its far to SOON for it to be done... and he lsot all credability for his soldiers for he rules with fear of fire much as the tygarians did... a shame...

but the show wants to simplify thigns and make Danny the only good and jsut ruler for ridiculious reasons so oh well... Little finger will mop both sides up afterwords, gain Sansa as an heir to Winterfell to rule it, and as being the adopted Father/lord of the Vale,having the riverlands9sorta kinda) and the North...
useless now considering how messed up the nroth is in terms of armies and leadership... but rally them to Sansa... seeing as no one told her about peters betrayal of Ned...
and hes gained about three of the kingdoms so far.

Lanister shall bleed one last time in the chaos of open revolt against the faith millitant, the Tyrells shall swollow themselves alaive... to engagned with their forces...

Danny will finish moppoing up her city, orgonize the troops and march on Westeros who will basically have the Tyrells and Baylish to worry about.
Tyrion will help with picking up the scattered messes of houses left flying in the wind, the Lanisters will gradually finish bleeding out... the Martyls...
will be odd. either side with dany cause family... or at least quasi side with Lanisters till all the others are dead, have his sons children inherit casterly rock... and thus gain two kingdoms...

So finale is going to be Danny vs Baylish. unless like some Kahl Drogo raises again unites his people, give them ships and goes at it now that the kingoms are disoginized and bleeding.

and then whoever wins goes off to help the Wall.

such a freaking SHAME I DISLIKE Briane so much cause first of all they arnt comfortable jsut letting her win some on her own merits and LOSE some on her own merits.. the only freaking HONEST fight shes ever had is agaisnt LORAS. LORAS. the freaking ROSE knight.

I liked Shireen and had a great deal or respect for Stannis until he he made such a bad choice on the show. I wanted him to prevail and part of me hopes he still does.

A good point about being called princess and that heirs can be chosen.

Softness is also a good point to mention as leaders in Game of Thrones tend to be too soft or too hard.

It would have been nice to see Shireen's reading student Davos Seaworth I like him and he cared deeply for Shireen.
