Lovely story! This is the first time I've read anything in this fandom, but I thought the fluffiness and steaminess was so nice! I also liked the storm aspect of the story, it really propelled the plot without weighing it down.

I love this whole thing. This is going to sounds very odd, but the best part of this story was when he whipped around at her after she mentioned that she could just die and then they could just be together. The added picture of the wind circling his hair, making it whip around his face was a great addition.

LOL at the "edible underwear" thing :D. Eh. Yeah. Can't argue with that :p.

Ooh, this story combined two things I like-the show and weather phenomenon (and a weather phenomenon I've always been fascinated (and terrified) by, no less)! Yay! I like the description of the storm as it rolled in and hit, could picture the craziness going on outside and the dark clouds and everything. I could feel the heat of the day so clearly, too-god, who among us HASN'T experienced that kind of sweltering, uncomfortable heat wave before? I was sweating just imagining poor Lydia's suffering. And I can sympathize with Lydia's wishing to capture a photo of it-as scary as these kinds of storms can be, they ARE pretty magnificent-looking, too. I'm no photographer, but there's been some weather moments I wish I could've captured on film, too.

Of course, obviously, safety comes first, and I love how Beetlejuice immediately springs into action and pulls Lydia to safety (his reaction to the storm also makes me wonder how many crazy weather events he's seen over the entire time he's been around, both when living and dead). I especially liked him chiding Lydia for her joke about dying in the storm-a sweet show of how protective and caring he is towards her, and proof that he likes her as she is, even when her being alive and him being dead causes its own issues. Lydia may not think much of the life she's currently living, but she's still young enough that she has so many options ahead of her throughout her life, and it's clear Beetlejuice knows that and wants that for her. Which is touching.

And of course the storm's always a good metaphor for these two and their feelings towards each other, too, which helps (as was that laundromat bit), and I like how they talked that part of things out and could be sweet and sappy while still having that teasing banter that makes their interaction so fun :). The "I love you"s were adorable, and their little moment of intimacy was sexy (and of course they'd be intimate in a mausoleum).

As for Delia, of course she'd get into the holistic treatment thing. Of course. And ick at them interacting with the Brewsters. Don't blame Lydia for wanting to get away from that (is it mean to hope the tornado took Claire away, to Oz or something?). I can just imagine how Delia and Charles rode out the storm (well, I have an idea of how Charles probably handled it...which would've been close to how I would've handled it, truthfully :p). But yes, hopefully all is well with her parents. That roommate of Lydia's sounds...interesting, too. Yet again Beetlejuice seems to be the most normal person in her life :p.

Cute story! So good to see another piece with these two from you. Good inspiration with the storm AND the film, though I do hope the weather settles down where you are if it's been particularly rough (been a little stormy here, too, at times, but we've been quite lucky compared to the southern part of the country *Knocks on wood*). Look forward to any other stories you may write with these two down the line.

Aww! Absolutely love how u write these two! Only Beej and Lydia could find romance during a nasty tornado. Wishing u wrote their conclusion but I will be satisfied with this. ;) thanks for this little bit! Loved it as usual.
