excessivelyperky chapter 5 . 3/4/2019 Oh, splendid! Serves the bad guys right. But I expect the real Albus won't be serving gingerbread biscuits any time soon. I love the potions and ritual geekery, too. Well done. |
excessivelyperky chapter 4 . 2/24/2019 Excellent chapter! Of course the Crone leads into the moon's void-of course and out again; the Crone is the Bridge Between of both birth and death anyway. Lovely potions geekery, too, glad it was all put to good use. |
excessivelyperky chapter 3 . 2/18/2019 Very good chapter; they have control of their magic again, and their minds. Pomona is in on the secret and will help, plus Filius thought of a good plan to track down the four missing people, while Snape is the most comfortable in the Muggle world where they will have to go in order to trace the owls' flight. It's all coming together. |
excessivelyperky chapter 2 . 1/31/2019 Neat chapter-nice connection of all the constellations with the Constella (apparently wizards are incapable of subtlety...). I wonder, does Snape ever realize he has the same appetite as the regular Ron Weasley? And when will someone call on him to prove himself in chess? Anyway, right now I am not getting any PMs or fanfic updates in my email and don't know when I will ever get them again, or if a few hundred will be missing by the time they get around to turning them on again. Do feel free to PM, I will be checking those online. |
excessivelyperky chapter 1 . 12/29/2018 This is seriously surreal, but very enjoyable-and the premise was wrong to begin with-more of the school would notice missing professors than would notice missing students, even the Trio. But yes, having Hogwarts rattle a bit will scare the 'Headmaster' and cheer the Slytherins. |
Mee chapter 5 . 4/7/2018 Nice! I really like the house heads' friendship :) |
Mel72000 chapter 5 . 7/15/2017 It was a great idea from you of rituals about people becoming stars. |
severusphoenix chapter 5 . 11/7/2015 Very cool story. I liked it that all four of the heads of house worked together to solve a problem without Albus or the trio stepping in to save the day. |
YenGirl chapter 5 . 7/19/2015 What a chapter, Ree! Severus and co pulled through magnificently and to a slightly lesser degree, so did the trio *smiles* I'm glad they had a hand in capturing the imposters *nods* Those imposters are.. *shakes head in disbelief* If they were good, they would wait until the famous people were on their deathbeds before changing them to constellations so they could at least live out full and fulfilling lives, but that was no their intention was it? No, they just wanted to steal their power and magic. Unbelievably evil and greedy. I'm with Severus - greedy people should get their comeuppance and having them reduced to squibs is a fitting punishment *tries for a Severus-like smirk and is told she needs a lot more practice* I'm sure this adventure has deepened Albus' and the trio's trust in their professors. Well done to all and just in time to enjoy the holidays and the party LOL And well done to you, Ree! |
KitElizaKing chapter 5 . 7/17/2015 I enjoyed the last chapter of your fine story, Ree. The way you concluded it, with everyone working together, and the explanations of what happened to the Trio and to Albus. It was pretty nasty, what that potion did...the way that it drove the people that had imbibed to try and kill the original. Wow! That was very nicely thought up! heh heh Thanks for that last scene, with the four heads together in the chamber again. I do like that they worked together so well, and that they trusted each other so much, but I can't also help but mourn how Albus forced Severus to squander that trust later on. Poor man. To have such friendships and then to have to lose them... *sighs* |
Guest chapter 5 . 7/12/2015 Great story! So interesting and the plot twists were unexpected. I wish there was an epilogue telling about the round up of the constellation group and what was in the potions journal and whether that really was the way the constellations were made (it sounds crazy) and the origins of the crone potion and whether Severus went back for the stone cauldron and what he did with it and the Trio's reaction to the whole thing... but this is a good ending place too I guess, where the major plot lines are resolved. excellent work! |
Tlcatlady chapter 5 . 7/13/2015 This one was such fun... I do hope you have more planned for it, even though this spot would make a good ending too. TLC |
suchrandomness chapter 5 . 7/13/2015 Great ending to this story - I'm looking forward to seeing more of the 'Crest' stories. |
Slytherin66 chapter 5 . 7/13/2015 A great chapter and well done ending I am glad those involved in the ritual will suffer for what they tried to do. It's not often we see any form of justice in magical UK. "It's time to take care of our infestation" a great line. I am glad Severus got the chance to show his potions were stronger or better and why. The protocol surrounding the truth potion was interesting to know. As Severus carrying a vial of the most powerful truth potion on his person in the books is dangerous and sinister. It was good to know how Dumbledore was captured as that would not be easy. I bet Harry and the others will act like Moody for a while. Very wise not to tell the Ministry everything. Thanks for this story. |
Seas and Shadows chapter 5 . 7/12/2015 :D Happy ending is happy. |
