I loved this take on Jasmine's journey and the style of writing this was written with. Love your work!

Yay! Deltora was one of the first book series that I read as a child, and to see it being graced with Jasmine's point of view, even for so brief a period, is beyond amazing. Thank you Untaken, for this most unexpected treat.

Long wait for this update, but thats okay, it was great! I just reread this book specifically a few weeks ago and a lot of sneaky easter eggs in your story, ive noticed! XD

This is beautiful as always, and I enjoyed reading it very much. There's only one thing I don't get (and I was confused about this in the book as well). Did Jasmine board the River Queen before or after Lief, Barda and Dain? Though I've read the book many times now I've never really known for sure. Though now I'm inclined to think she probably boarded before Lief and co.

Other than that, I loved your story and how it ended. It was very fitting. Jasmine enjoyed a quiet moment of happiness and hope before everything was thrown into chaos again. And it was nice to read about something from the books which doesn't really focus on Lief/Jasmine so much.

Can't wait for whatever you write next! :)

Not a bad story to be honest, your writing style is very professional which is a refreshing quality for FFN, and I like how Jasmine isnt wacky OOC like she usually is seen here.

Good filler, yo, GOOD filler. Its just so refreshingly Jasmine, all the way through. You really do keep her character spot-on at all times.

Aww, that was such a sweet ending. There was no romance or anything, but the way you did that just left me with a really nice feeling, like the books do whenever I read them.

Aside from that, I'm actually glad you didn't focus on Lief's feelings about Jasmine, and instead focused on her feelings. This is her story, after all. Although, I laughed at how she didn't notice Lief's eyes following her legs... Well done! :)

In all, this was a brilliant story, and I look forward to whatever you come up with next!

I thought this was a brilliant piece.
Firstly, I love how you're not just giving us a quick fix solution to a story like this. Many authors would have had Jasmine on the boat by now, without all this adventure that you're putting in. Well done!

Then, there's your fleshing out of Jasmine's character. We're learning so much more about her as a person, now that she's alone. Her encounter with the pirates was also beautifully written, and the fact that she didn't kill them outright shows her character development.

In all, I loved this, particularly because it was not at all what I was expecting from this update. I can't wait for you to put up the next one!
