God, so sad yet so bloody brilliant. I think it's wonderfully miserable to see a writer expressing other forms of domestic abuse then just hitting. While I understand the seriousness of domestic violence, I felt like there wasn't enough awareness of other kinds of abuse.

The relationship tat was described between Merlin and Arthur was great, and the sweet banter at the end was just the icing on top of the cake. This story was sexy, dramatic and all together a fun read.

I feel like this is a wonderfully thought provoking story but people might get put off by how much of a dick Cenred is XD I don't know if that is a good thing, maybe people aren't so bad if they get turned off by what happens at the start.
Personally, I couldn't read this story, I felt sorry for Merlin and found Cenred's commands to be awkward (though I suppose that was the purpose... XD). However, I find what you were writing about to be an extremely worthwhile cause ;)

Gosh, you are being very productive at the moment - that is a wonderful thing!

Another thought provoking piece, notably that consent is not as simple as saying 'yes' and coercion and manipulation can be subtle to the point the victim may not be fully aware of the mire the're in.

Glad it had a happy / positive ending and you gave Merlin and Arthur time to come to terms with what had happened; to give control back to Merlin and free Arthur from some of the guilt he felt.

Great work as always - you put the rest of us to shame!

That.. Was amazing. Of course Arthur doesn't notice at first of the abusing - but it brings in his canon character with his suspicions to make up for it anyway and that was splendidly done! and Merlin finally breaking up - sweet! ;D
It was so fluffy of how they went thru, poor Merlin eventually after a long time realizing that he truly was abused.. God but how Arthur is still there for him and so patient - beautiful! And how u added in Details about the food - namely nicknames that r supposed to be insulting (tho how u do that with the person to be insulted's consent?) lol and ending w a kiss?! Frickin fan-fucking-tastic beautiful!
