Runner043 chapter 1 . 5/31/2016 Ya know, Linguam, I'm wondering why the guys, in such a large and fine chalet, did not occupy some of the many rooms, no doubt with comfortable beds in them. Just my thought at the moment. Thanks for the fic. |
wotumba1 chapter 1 . 4/27/2016 poor aramis. he should know better than to hide his injuries from his brothers |
Guest chapter 1 . 10/30/2015 This story was a perfect missing scene. Thank you. |
GingietheSnap chapter 1 . 10/26/2015 Good story. I noticed Aramis getting hit by the chain, too, and saw how he reacted and nothing was ever mentioned. Either they just cut any further scenes referencing it or maybe it was really an unintentional hit and reaction that looked good so they kept it in. |
butski chapter 1 . 10/18/2015 Thanks for this well written one-shot. I enjoyed it a lot. You captured them all perfectly and I liked it all, but I especially liked the part where Porthos yells for Athos to help with Aramis' back, and then Aramis and Athos communicate with just looks. Great! Take care. |
Keesha chapter 1 . 8/18/2015 Very nice story. Enjoyed it. |
LadyCavil chapter 1 . 8/11/2015 I've lost count of how many times I've read this fic, and I have no idea why I've apparently never reviewed it, so this is me fixing that. First of all, thank you so much for writing about Aramis getting hit with that chain. Every time I watch that episode, I wince when it happens and then immediately wonder why it's never addressed after that. These writers have a terrible tendency of never addressing Aramis's wounds. We saw it in 1.03, and we saw it again in 2.06. That being said, thank you, thank you, thank you for this fic. I think my favorite part is when Porthos says "Now why don't I believe that?" and then yells for Athos. It feels absolutely perfect for that situation. I really want to hug Porthos in that moment. I'm sure he would've liked to tend to Aramis himself right then, but with one working arm, he has to call in reinforcements (aka Athos). Every time I read Athos saying "Being familiar with your definition of 'fine', I'm sure you will forgive us for not finding that particularly reassuring" I find myself nodding because who actually writes Aramis truthfully admitting to every injury right away? Really any time Athos opens his mouth in this chapter is beautiful because it's so purely Athos in every way possible. When Porthos asks Aramis "You gonna be okay over there?", my desire to hug that guy comes back full force. If there's a badge for putting up with everyone's fatal quirks, Porthos deserves it ten times over. Seriously I love this fic sooooooo much! :) |
ThomE.Gemcity-06 chapter 1 . 8/4/2015 It's just like any of these four men to cover up an injury (and Aramis because of his medical knowledge is the one most likely to judge himself non-serious even if it was), and of course he would see to Porthos first (even if the injury wasn't serious) but they're always figured out in the end - luckily. This is a really well written one-shot. Great job! |
Karri chapter 1 . 7/20/2015 Beautiful bit of h/c. Thank you for it! |
Guest chapter 1 . 6/30/2015 Oh man, yes, I love this very much. Every bit. |
