I have been reading this story since 2015. That was the year I first began reading fan fiction, and Lux and Talon were one of the few couples I shipped at the time. Most of the stories on this platform were disappointing in writing or premise, but this one stood out. I always came back to check for new chapters, and each time was exciting and absorbing. I find it hard to believe that it's now 2018, and I've since made an account. It's also hard to believe that after this long stretch of time, the story still goes strong. I'm guessing that you're already preoccupied with something at the moment, which would explain your absence, but all of us readers would greatly appreciate it if we were given a new chapter. All of this depends on you, and I only hope that you're already working on a draft.

So once again I re-read the entire story because it had been so long but, damn, I forgot how amazing it is. I honestly want to read it again, just don't wait another year to update please, especially at such a dramatic moment. :( I cannot wait to see how this goes down and I hope for a good ending, since neither character has really ever known happiness or love until now. And, tbh, this story has made me want to start playing and main talon again. Only two such stories so far have made me want to play champs and become better at them. Yours, and "Follow the Wind" by Tahimikamaxtli (If you haven't read it, I'd highly recommend it, because it is truly a masterpiece.)

It's really an amazing story. I'm so glad to have found it. Original idea, beautiful storyline, unique conflict. Frick, maybe it's just that League stories are good because we don't exactly have too much to go off of. I will admit though, I love how you did the Lux and Garen sibling relation. Slight strangers to each other, but completely caring and loving. Just as any good older brother should be with his cute younger sister. Especially if the brother is a staple of justice, honor, righteous, etc...

I anticipate the next wait with every fiber of my soul!

This ending leaves me with a distinct mix of anger, grief, and discontent. It's too much of a cliffhanger, it leaves too much unsaid in my opinion. It feels more like a "I got bored writing, so I killed the main character to end things" rather than something satisfying. While I enjoyed this through and through, it leaves a bitter and upsetting after taste.

What the heck happened at the end?! Why would you do that? It's really cruel to do that to poor Talon.

dude. talon you self-destructive fuck. and by self-destructive i mean "yourself and everything else". loving people -generally- is done by not choking them and by less consuming displays of zealotry.

(she is a vixen though. lux is glorious and full of agency and even if it is turned towards "break the world that broke me" or loving vengeance i adore how she took control of her situation. it takes balls to face 2 assassins at different points in time, love them, and also offer them the sweet relief of death.)

talon is so confused. what is love, but also what is actually getting closure. he does have the wildest mood swings though. blaming it on "nothing even resembling a really hammered stability" for most his life though.

great googly moogly. the fucking ending. 1) lux i love and fear to li'l tiny bits 2) talon's attachment issues are wild and 3) THAT STAB. some kill you with a kiss indeed even without the kiss and just the preamble/hugs.
