I have this really warm feeling on my chest right now... This was a very beautiful one shot. I need to thank you, I needed to read something like this. (Sorry for my bad english)

So cute. There have been only a few times that I have been afraid during a thunderstorm since childhood. One was last year when I was at my half sister's house because I was dog sitting for her while she and her husband went on a honeymoon and I was reading a ghost fanfiction story (big mistake) and there was tons of lightening and the thunder was really loud. The second time was only a few days ago but that had more to do with the fact I was dreaming I was being attacked by a demon and when I woke up the thunderstorm started.

Thunder Storms; the bane of childhood. I remember a nightly thunder storm that occurred sometime around my second birthday that scared me. I was in a room with a window on the right and one on the left and trying to sleep. I remember my dad coming into the room to put the baby in the crib and after seeing a flash of lightning light up the room became afraid. I remember asking what it was and asking if it could get in the house. Hey, it was lighting up both windows at night so it was scary and I don't remember any of my earlier thunder storms. In the end I slept in my parents room since they had thick curtains covering the windows. I kept my fear of thunder storms for years and only shook a large chunk of the fear about ten years ago.
