Wolfayne chapter 2 . 4/18/2016
This story is really well written, with an easy to folow, one of a kind plot. I really enjoy it, and I think you could build a really fantastic series off of it. I read the drabble that it's supposed to precede, and I am really curious as to the events that are to take place between the 2nd chapter and the drabble. I hope you'll continue writing this! It's really good.

Definitely looking forward to more!
Razell chapter 2 . 6/20/2015
This is sad and somewhat hopeful at the same time. Marco was in pretty much the exact situation Ace is in when he was a child, and he's still traumatized all these years later, still seeking reassurance that his tormentor is dead. Poor Ace has just been sold, he has no idea what to expect, who to trust. People may have pretended to be kind to him before, only to hurt him terribly when he lowered his guard. I hope he starts to eat soon.

I also hope this doesn't end up a tragedy, with one or the other dead.

Ace trying to commit suicide to escape the horror of his life was painful, so young and so desperate to find freedom in death. Marco wanted to die as well while a sex slave... The sad thing is, this kind of thing happens all to often in real life. And for many, that is the way they find freedom. I'm all angsty now. Powerful work.

Explaining his reasoning for buying Ace, opening up a bit about his past, hopefully that will help them both.
Ujvari chapter 2 . 6/14/2015
I like the way exams work on you :D I hope you're going to have more of those in the near future. (Joking aside, I wish you luck!)
So, Marco used to hide under his own rehabilitation desk, huh? That's kinda cute, the image I mean. And then his dream. I liked your descriptions a lot. And I'm surprised. I could have sworn the one who sold Ace was Teach, because these two usually go together and his seller had missing teeth too. But since Teach sold Marco and is supposedly dead, it can't be him.
Well, if this story continues like this, you win my heart.
So, there were three scenes that I found especially good. First, Marco tangling in his sheets in his panic. Usually, he's displayed as overly composed, so this is showing how shaken he is by the memory. I really liked that. Then the moment he ripped the curtain off and Ace and Marco stared at each other. There's a lot of emotion in that short scene. I would even say that this is my favorite so far. And then the scene where Marco takes refuge in his office. I wonder if Ace notices some parallels between himself and Marco's behaviour.
I can't wait to read more and hope you get to write the next chapter soon!
Ujvari chapter 1 . 6/14/2015
What the hell? Multiple trigger warnings? Sex slavery? That's just perfect! Why did I only find this story now?
And with both Marco and Ace coming out of that scene, I'm expecting a lot of emotions and dark flashbacks in the next chapters. It won't be easy for Marco to gain Ace's trust, that much is certain and he will be confronted with a lot of difficult situations.
Although I'm feeling a bit sorry for Ace, you manage to write him very well. His fright and jumpiness for example or the suicide attempt. I just can't wait to read about what happened to him. And maybe Marco, since you're telling the story from his pov.
I'm actually a little surprised to see such a story from you. Didn't you write Seven Days as well? Yep, I just took a look. You did. That's really a change in style :D
And isn't Haruta adorable? I like her so much with her cheery attitude and all.
So, what else can I say about this chapter? All in all, it was very good, with only a few typos and a catchy speed. I liked some of the information you incorporated along the way, like the guards memorizing Ace's face. It's not an important part of the story, but gives it much more life. The rehabilitation desk (what a name!), though, is my favorite. And imagining Marco talking in different languages is kind of sexy...
Yup, that would be all I guess.
Reminiscence Awry chapter 2 . 6/12/2015
I like that we're starting to see some of Marco's motivations. Its nice that you are keeping Ace's back story a mystery; too many stories give away details like that in the first few chapters but you've managed to keep the suspense up. I hope you'll be able to post the next chapter soon, I'm really enjoying the story.
Akage987 chapter 2 . 6/12/2015
Yay a chapter \o/ It's weird to be this happy to read this story when it's not a 'happy' story.
As cruel as it sound, it's good that Marco remember. It's the only way he can heal properly, too.
Trust will take a lot of time, let's hope some routine won't scare him when there's change coming.
And paperwork give him a nice excuse to stay in that room too.
frappyrouge123 chapter 2 . 6/12/2015
