this is truly and amazing story. it may be one of my all-time favorites. I love how it was centered around Adam but had quite a lot of references to his major friendships.
this actually made me cry. I think it's because it touched me on a personal level, and the fact that it was well written.
I think from now on when I see an empty locker, I'll remember this story, and I'll think of Banks.

Lovely, lovely piece. Angst isn't really my cup of tea, but you wrote it in a way that isn't overpowering or annoying or cheap - you made it really believable, all these insights into his character and the way he reacts and deals with it all. Plus you patched up the various gaps in the movie. So again: lovely piece. :)

That was the best introspective Ducks piece that I've read. You somehow made it not fluff. Great job!

you should right more, like a chapter two, but make the person that is going through the memories someone else, like Charlie. and then keep going, useing different ducks.

Wow, I can't believe how well written this was. The motif of the empty lockers was absolutely perfect, and I loved how you used flashbacks and everything. I think you really wrote Adam perfectly, and I loved his relationship with his brother. Excellent job, and I can't wait to read more (hopefully!) from you!
