I am so glad that Myk knew just what and who his brother needed to survive this terrifying family nightmare. I love the way that you had Violet and the boys interact. This was so well done and I was almost crying at the heartfelt way that you described the distraught SH at the hospital. Then the manner in which you said there was beauty and light and rejoicing once Molly made her entrance was simply wonderful to experience. Also the moments with Mycroft & Anthea were truly beautiful and touching. One more thing the line about Violet was originally Siger's Mathematician made me smile. Well done Sherlock just like your amazing dad. |

I think this one is one of your masterpieces: touching, well-written and in character - I had tears in my eyes while reading this. You also managed to capture the relationship between the members of the Holmes family perfectly. It's also my head canon that Sherlock and his father are particularly close. Also loved the humorous ending ("my pathologist" - "my mathematician". Awww :) ) with a 'stern' mummy Holmes! |
