I gotta say though, your writing has definitely improved throughout the years. these longer chapters at the end are much more enjoyable and understandable vs the first few chaps. Well done!

Now, what has happened in the eleven months to Kanaki? I get the feeling we're going to find out!
Will be honest, when I read that Touka had gotten some organs replaced, my mind immediately jumped to a certain incident that started the whole series off...but since so much time passed, without anything of note happening, it seems unlikely.
Once again...THIS STORY LIVES! :D

I know it’s been a while since you’ve last updated, but I really love and miss this story. The imagery is fantastic, the interactions are engaging, and the writing is beautifully constructed. I’m not sure if you want to continue with it, but if not I understand. I just wanted to let you know that this still remains as one of my favorites.

Ohohoho~ A big battle's coming~

I spent the time reading this so i might as well review.

The first few chapters set up a flow to the story that is easy to follow, but then becomes more disjointed as Touka's life continues to come off of its hinges. From a metaphorical standpoint this is a very excellent thing you have done and i appreciate the subtleness of. But from an ease if reading standpoint I often found myself unable to read the chapters cohesivally, almost as if the chapters are independent stories and not one common collective.

The later chapter exhibit a raw emotion that is painted by a narrative of a mind breaking. Touka's journey through her torture seems to focus more on the physical than the mental. The canon use of torture by Yamori on Kaneki is physical to invoke mental, shown by the use of making him count backwards from 1000 by 7.

Your torture however is more purely physical, inflicitng damage that cannot be healed by human bodies. But that being the case the reconnect to Kaneki and the real world in general should have taken longer.
