I cried like a baby. This story is going to sit with me for a few days I think... and that’s what makes a good writer. Someone who can make a story linger with the reader once they’ve finished reading it.
But also, just how in depth the story was. It wasn’t just a H & S hook up... the end. It was SO much more.

I always hate reading epilogs where Sev and Hermione die of old age. Actually where they die at all. You made me cry too. Very good and I will be reading more of your work.

Usually I don't review each chapter I just make a comment at the end of the story. But I loved the dynamics of this one. My husband didn't care about curtains either. I hate that they have to go back to the war now tho. Enjoying this very much!

I have read SSHG for over a decade, but just stumbled across this story in the last month. I absolutely loved it and it is now one of my top 10 favorites!

Ok so I was extremely reluctant to start this story for reasons beyond my own comprehension now- when I had originally opened it up I mistakenly assumed the doc would be centered around Hermione and Dumbledores idiotic manipulation in time for too long, and had thought the entire beginning of the fic would consist of nearly entirely original characters. But jesus was I wrong ; this story far exceeded my expectations and I LOVED IT. I also 100% appreciate that you actually made them just a few years apart in age, I absolutely refuse to read fics where a relationship starts out with an adult and a minor. Although I generally put up with fics where both are adults but still have a 20 year age gap, I always pretend in those stories that the gap is smaller than it actually is written. It was a relief to be able to read a story where the age gap is 100% appropriate and doesn’t feel anything like a student-teacher one. And honestly, this was everything I had hoped for- drama, sadness but with a content ending. I finished this entire thing within a day (yes so know that’s insane, it took me hours). I know you probably won’t read this, but if you do, thank you for this one.

This story was highly recommended by multiple people on the Granger Enchanted FB page. Overall, I liked it a good deal...it had a good pace, and the plot did not lag. I did find the first half of it to be quite grim, and it was difficult for me to understand why Hermione did not interfere more, especially once she had passed the point where she had first gone back in time. I did love the relationship between Severus and Hermione, and you did a terrific job with the battle scenes. It was a good read, well worth the time. Thanks for writing! P.S. Loved your Ron!
