Oh! Oh, dear. I realize you aren't familiar with The Sandman / The Endless lore but oh, dear...

Your creative. And you have potential as a writer but there are certain things you ought to know about The Endless of Sandman. I take your version as an AU but you may want to know these things.

Death is actually very kind. She sometimes becomes human as to not become apathetic (which she associates with cruelty.) She is NOT a sexual being. Some characters have had crushes on her but she has never shown a sexual interest in anyone or anything.

Destruction quit is role as Destruction of The Endless and left to live as a mortal on Earth to embrace his creative side. He's friendly and artistic. He lives like a hipster, exploring things like art, poetry, painting, and sculpting. He quit because he didn't want to be party to humanity destroying itself. He would never side with Voldemort.

Delirium is child-like and... well, crazy. Delirium would not shaker her head at "getting in tune with mortals." Neither would Dream. Morpheus AKA Dream of The Endless admires Death and respects her before anyone else.

As a Harry Potter fan this is fine. As a Sandman fan this was... slightly painful...

I wish this was a full length fic instead of a one-shot.

ooh I like this. Because Destiny knows everything already then they've been waiting for this for a while! they know that harry is their brother to be and have prodded things a bit to make sure he's taken care of. like dobby being a potter elf already! and Voldemort having a hatred for james potter and Why thngs worked out in an Alternate Universe way! this is fantastic :D I want to know what it would be like for little Harry in this universe where he's one of the Endless but still mortal.

Please continue this, even if it is just snippets from various points in Harry/Devotion's life.

Awesome. Loved it. Especially thwarting Dumbles from as near to the start as possible.

An awesome little story here, really enjoyed how it played out, even as it's my hope that someday soon, we can at least see some more section in this same universe.

There is a school of thought that the Endless, as personifications of existence traits, do not actually experience their own demesne. For instance, Destruction is indestructible.. he quit because that was the only way for his role to change, much less end.

Delight can't actually experience joy firsthand. This was so miserable that she changed, becoming Delirium (and being very, very sane at her core).

Despair is actually hopeful once you get to truly understand her.

Dream isn't very imaginative in regards to his own life.

Death will be the last.

Destiny has no fate, as he only observes and guides everything else to its proper place.

Desire is possibly the most self-satisfied being imaginable.

If that paradigm had been applied to Devotion.. hoo boy.
