Sweet and interesting chapter. I am confused about the previous mate though. It never mentioned that anything happened to them, but Elsa and Anna are acting like he died with the son. Didn't Elsa say that dragons mate for life?

I know this is an older story, but I found it recently and have been reading it. It is so amazing! But, it seems to me that you fell into same trap that Hollywood seems to make in that the hero kills the bad guys and when (you know it's coming) the bad guys get up, Elsa just stands there and does nothing for a few minutes like a
l her training in the fortrress and her intelligence just fell out of her had plenty of time to ice blast the bad guys or the dragons flying downwards, but instead she and Anna just stand there. Can you explain why this is? As the reader I don't know what a writers intentions are, but the end of this chapter takes the heroines from good guys to bubbling fools it reads to me. By reading the story so far, I can't imagine that is what you wanted to portray, so I just ask for clarification on the seeming 180 degree turnabout in intelligence and fighting skill. I see it has taken a long time to write and I applaud you staying the course I really love this entire story, just this last part, idk, maybe seems rushed, or I'm just not getting it, which is probably the case Thanks for your hard I love Elsa's true language, it's awesome!

Thank you for another great chapter, not long, but just what I needed as its been a crazy day and that night flight sounds so cool. There is a fantasy artist that lives here where I do and I bought a print (can't afford the original oil!) of many of the Japanese gods, demons, and youma, including a dragon of course. She does beautiful work and I hope to buy more in the future. I wonder if the person who did the dragon art for your story sells prints? The dragon you are using for your story is beautifully done. It's been a looong while since I last read this story. I was on chapter 16 when it came out and forgot to check for more chapter back then. Reread up until this chapter and am kinda sort really bummed out about Elsa having a mate in the past. Was Elsa in love with him? Or was it a more instinctual mating?

I'm eternally grateful for the excitement, danger, plot, romance and wholesomeness you've brought with this story. I'm entranced by your words and I'm so SO happy that I've encountered such a masterpiece. This is definitely a book to remember and I only look forward to your other work. I finished this within a busy week but it was well worth it and your ability to create a new fantastical landscape makes me admire you more so thank you for your service :)

I had nooooo idea what to expect when I clicked on this story. but I'm so glad I did. it's so beautifully written and your use of dovahzul (taken from Skyrim, I'm assuming?) fitted so well. the growth of the characters felt natural and the third person omniscient POV gave us insight to what they all felt. some characters were flat, but they're supposed to be! we cant have the readers falling in love with every redeemable quality in everyone. I loved this story. and likely when I have read through all the Elsanna that exists on this website (or in between), I'll be back to reading this when I want something... more mythical and epic.

That was truly amazing. I've always had a soft spot for dragons and this made it more so. I really hope you consider doing something for Frozen 2. Especially with the similarities in the elements.
