A highly vivid and erotic portrayal of Fenris and Hawkes relationship. The unhealthy aspects of their relationship seems to be obsessive and possessive to me. There are hints of possible physical violence but I didn't get much sense they were emotionally manipulating each other much. They can't seem to decide if they want the other around though.
It was an interesting story. I got the impression this is a glimpse into the larger problems in their relationship that are brewing somewhere beyond what the story shows. Nice job!

Orange, I sometimes wonder at hiw you're able to write something as light as Interlocking and something as dark as this. Both poignant pieces, but very differently so.

I find the idea of such a dark need between them very intriguing. The hollow sense of wanting that you are able to convey after their night together is very haunting and beautifully done.

This is damn fine stuff. Brutal and passionate but there is a much deeper struggle between the two of them that underlines the overt sexuality of it. I am immediately familiar with this Hawke, her motivation and her influence. Your opening notes are spot on - you can immediately tell this an unhealthy attraction.

I love the first scene in the mansion and the sparring of words they have. There is a fierce competition, almost registering as disgust with each other, but clearly there is an attraction too. The dialogue reads just right.

The Hadrianna scene sprinkled in the middle is the best section. A visceral and well-written passage that really touches those notes of the internal struggle Fenris is facing in his relation with Hawke. She pushes and delights in this type of behavior, but even as he had his fist literally wrapped around another's heart, he does not relish it.

Usually, you read things where the guy taints the girl to match her. This is refreshing.

Wow, this was amazingly dark and riveting. The title is apt, as this is the kind of story that stays with you, even when you close your eyes.

Damn. This is a fantastic way to do the challenge! Seriously, amazing. Dark and riveting and so painfully raw and wonderful. But then, I usually enjoy your work!

OH wow, this was really dark, but the way the darkness drove it forward, unstoppable and intense, was amazing. This vision of Hawke is intensely haunting, and Fenris's uncertainty but inability to resist is a very real struggle. I loved it!

I have missed your Fenris so so much. This was haunting and beautiful and dark and sexy and brilliant in the way that only you can ever deliver. Their raw passion and bloodlust combined...Maker this was awesome.

Wow! This was so powerful, full of raw and passionate emotion, somewhat scary in its intensity, in the best of ways. It'll stick for a long while.
