Okay, I've got it! I think that on the next update, you should have Khalissa the reporter come barging in demanding questions, and max (and Craig now, I guess) mess things up. Max could poop and pee around the reporter, making her go ballistic, while Craig can somehow get to the camera and screw up the electronics.

Definitely keep the tone as is, it's perfect and awesome. Loving the hamster's names for everyone.

I like the hamster voice with Max's POV and I've liked that the story was light-hearted and silly. Fun stuff!

Also, kudos for not going with the cliched pairing for Miranda. Interesting choice considering that Miranda and Jacob have a past and Brynn and Jacob have a future.

- The hamster voice is fine. It's not as if we know how how animals address each other and it's as good a way to identify people from Max's point of view as any other.

- I don't think anyone could take this as a serious fic. Serious plot lines with additional helpings of comic relief, base humour and Max's PoV? I suppose it could work, might be confusing at times with all the stuff that goes on but it'd be refreshingly unique if nothing else.

It has to stay silly, the tone is hilarious! I loved this chapter too. Dammit Shepard you're slow haha :P

Love that you updated. As for the POV of Max, either seems fine as could just as well be there during a serious moment. He IS a hamster, so... he would be like that innocent relief character that always makes you smile even if say, someone was injured or a grave moment occurred.

Personally I like it the way you've been writing it already.
