Nicely written. And I finally found fanfiction about Natsu leaving that actually includes Natsu (and Happy! poor fellow is offhandedly brushed off my so many ff writers), not just a crying Lucy! *victory dance*

All the hate... Well, Natsu does treasure his surrogate family, so I think there is more to why he left (though the idea of him planning on leaving a couple months prior... hmm. I would consider something more connected to the demons' case). He's not such a dense person when it comes to his loved ones, he wouldn't hurt them without a reason... I'm looking forward to good character development in the manga.

I kindof wished this had actually happened, it really killed me when they left her right before (spoiler!) the guild disbanded. Especially since the guild and these two were lucy's whole world and she had already lost Aquarius. Well done, minor grammer mistakes (we all do it, dont worry :)) and decent story. Good job!

Yes, this is what should happen! Freakin' Mashima troll . Natsu says stuff stuff about nakama and he ups and leaves, like, WTF. Natsu should at least say a freaking "goodbye," but NO, he just leaves with a note on her desk. Maybe it's because he knew she would stop her? I'm still in rage mode. Dang you, Mashima ._.

OHMYGODS I actually freaken know right?! And he's always all "We're a team!" and "You're strong Lucy!" and "We can't leave anybody behind!" and then he just up and leaves Lucy behind just like that. Friggin' Natsu and his friggin' stupid ideas and friggin' Mashima and his bad ship decisions (I don't hate Mashima, actually I really love him but this is too OC even for Natsu). I mean, sure its tiring to try to please shippers when your manga isn't even romance BUT STILL, at least do what needs to be done. Show that Lucy actually cares for Natsu when the father he's been looking for more than half of his life dies just like what he did for her when hers died, not like the way she acted in the manga. Don't build-up character relationships and then just go back to square one. If you don't want to give excessive ship scenes, then don't give the ship teases when they're just there to please the readers. Show character relationship development only when it's due.

This is basically my whole feels based on the ships going on in FT and my analysis on Mashima's feelings towarfs them (he rants on tweets sometimes, rare, but it happens).
